As a translator, I work with the written word, specialising in materials for the international development, NGO, and charity sectors.
I work from French, Spanish and Portuguese into English.
In addition to being a trained and qualified translator, I am an experienced charity communications professional. I can tell your charity’s or your beneficiaries’ story in the engaging way you need.

Pawsome Comms was founded and is managed by Hayley Carter-Smith MA MITI. Hayley is a native English speaker and now lives in Lisbon, Portugal, after having previously lived in both London and Paris.

Hayley a passionate linguist and a skilled translator with a BA (Hons) in French, and an MA in Translation (with Distinction). She is also a fully qualified Member (MITI) of the UK's Institute of Translation and Interpreting.
The inspiration for Pawsome Communications comes from Hayley's dog (and Pawsome Comms CEO), Melo Baudelaire, whose ears feature in our logo.
